Let it go, for all of us.
As we became the designers and developers we are, along the way we have formed an opinion on nearly everything. We take a stand on the number of <div>’s we use, only using web-safe fonts, Mac vs. PC, or anything and everything. How many of us have stopped to ask which of it is actually relevant? or beneficial to our community or client?
I greatly admire the art of children. It is one of the last places we can look for uninhibited expression. When my 5 year old son picks up a pencil, it seems his only limitation is the size of the paper (and his dexterity). He doesn’t carry a style, purpose, or even a reason why he wants to puts crayon to paper and illustrates the amazing way he views the world. Half the time it has nothing to do with reality.
